Description:

 

Cooling Tower Fill provides sheets of material that are shaped into a corrugated pattern for the water to travel across. It can be combined and stacked into blocks, to create various thicknesses and heights to fit individual cooling towers.

The largest disadvantage of film fill is that it doesn’t provide an opportunity for the water to redistribute itself. The initial water distribution at the top of the fill must be uniform, or the process won’t work well. The close spacing created by the narrow passages of film fill also makes film fill more challenging to maintain. If the water includes large debris like leaves, the fill is prone to clogging.

Cooling Tower Fill Operating of Principle

*Cooling towers reject heat from water-cooled systems to the atmosphere. Hot water from the system enters the cooling tower and is distributed over the fill (heat transfer surface). Air is induced or forced through the fill, causing a small portion of the water to evaporate. This evaporation removes heat from the remaining water, which is collected in the cold water basin and returned to the system to absorb more heat. Each cooling tower line, although operating under the same basic principle of operation, is arranged a little differently.

 

*There are two main configurations of factory assembled cooling towers: crossflow and counterflow. In crossflow cooling towers, the water flows vertically down the fill as air flows horizontally across. In counterflow cooling towers, the water flows vertically down the fill as air flows vertically up.

Cooling tower packing cleaning method:

 

1. Manual cleaning of the slag falling off in the cooling tower;

 

2. Rinse the packing repeatedly with a high-pressure water gun to remove the sludge and scale under cleaning;

 

3. Dissolve the TNB descaling agent with hot water at about 50°C, and then use the flushing pump to rinse the filler repeatedly until the scale is rinsed off (if the filler has a long service life, causing aging and collapse, it is recommended to replace the filler), and add algaecide at the same time. Completely kill biological algae and;

 

4. After confirming that all parts of the system are cleaned, drain the sewage;

 

5. Rinse the packing and the inside and outside of the tower body with clean water;

 

6. Restore all parts of the system, replenish water and use it;

 

7. After all recovery, please check and accept the management personnel of Party A;

 

8. Evacuate Party B's belongings and clean the site;
